On July 16, 2020 at 12:41 am the Danville Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 115 Davis Street. Crews arrived on scene to a small outbuilding with moderate fire coming from the front of the building. The fire was under control and extinguished within 10 minutes of arrival. The building was vacant at the time. The Fire Marshall’s Office determined the cause of the fire to be arson. The DFD responded with three engines, one ladder truck, one command vehicle, two support vehicles and 17 personnel. Personnel were on scene for less than an hour. Danville Fire Department was assisted by Danville Life Saving Crew, Danville Police Department, and Danville Utilities.
