Danville Fire Department Responded to a reported structure fire at 129 Campbell St at 3:56 am this morning. Units arrived to find a two story residential structure heavily involved in fire. At the time of arrival everyone was reported to be out of the fire building. Crews also had the two structures on either side that were being exposed to heavy fire. The fire was brought under control using a ladder truck and multiple hose lines. Both neighboring structures received minor damage as a result of the fire. Four engines, a ladder truck, two chief officers, a safety officer and a fire Marshall responded. Crews were on the scene four and a half hours.The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire marshal’s office. There were no injuries reported.
