The Danville Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 360 Seminole Trail just before midnight. First arriving units found a 12 unit, two story apartment building with one apartment in the center heavily involved with fire. Crews immediately began evacuating the adjoining apartments. Crews also began started extinguishing the fire. The fire caused heavy fire damage to both floors of the original apartment. But firefighters were able to contain the fire to the one apartment. All occupants were able to return to their homes with the exception of the original fire apartment and the apartment next door that will need some cleanup before returning. Three engines , one ladder truck, a safety officer and one chief officer responded and remained on scene for two and a half hours. Danville Life Saving Crew and the Danville Police department assisted. The Danville Fire Department Fire Marshalls' Office is investigating the cause.
