The Danville Fire Department responded to a house fire at 437 Harrison Street. Upon the fire departments arrival there was moderate smoke showing. There was a small fire in the front room of the house and it caused smoke damage throughout the building. The fire department made quick work of the fire inside of the structure. The house was vacant and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Questions concerning the incident can be directed to the Danville Fire Department's Fire Marshal's office. The Danville Fire department responded with 15 personnel, 3 engines, 1 ladder truck, a safety vehicle, and a command vehicle. The DLSC provided on scene medical services and rehabilitation for firefighters. The Danville Police Department provided traffic control, scene safety, and crowd management.
