Just before 3:00 am on the morning of November 24 the Danville Fire Department was notified of a reported home on fire on Princess Dr. The fire department responded with Engines 1,2, and 5 responded along with Ladder 1, a Safety Officer and Battalion Chief. Crews arrived to find heavy fire showing from the rear of the home. All occupants were confirmed to be out of the home and the fire was quickly knocked down and brought under control. Fire crews remained on scene for approximately 2 hours to ensure the occupants displaced were taken care of and the fire was fully extinguished. The scene was turned over to the Danville Fire Marshal's office where the cause of the fire is under investigation.
