Danville Fire Department units responded to a structure fire at 146 Baskerville Court. The dispatch time was 1:51 am. E1, E3, E4, L1, S1 and B1 responded from their stations. An update advised that the HVAC unit outside, was on fire. E3 (Industrial Ave) arrived on scene to find fire around the area of the HVAC unit that was also spreading to other areas of the building. Fire department personnel verified that everyone was out of the building. The fire was brought under control quickly. Units verified that the fire had not spread to the inside of the building. The Fire Marshal was requested by command. Two occupants and two guests were displaced from the affected apartment. No housing assistance was needed. The fire is under investigation.
