The Danville Police Department is pleased to announce the following promotions.
Lieutenant David Dixon has been promoted to Captain.
Sergeant Ben Crozier has been promoted to Lieutenant.
Corporal Jonathan Wood has been promoted to Sergeant.
Officer Nicholas Pickrel has been promoted to Corporal.
All promoted officers were presented with their new badges during a ceremony held Monday morning, March 3, at 1 Community Way. Family and friends gathered to watch as they were pinned and congratulated.
The promotions were effective on March 1.
