The City of Danville is seeking qualified vendors and tradesmen to participate in a home maintenance and landscaping expo scheduled from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, at the Community Market.
This expo will kick off the second annual Make Danville Shine campaign, which is a month-long initiative to encourage residents to clean-up, paint-up and fix-up their property.
“We would like to give vendors and tradesmen the chance to showcase their skills and products,” said Emily Scolpini, planning specialist for the Housing and Community Development Department. “The expo will attract hundreds of citizens looking for advice and expertise on home improvement products and services to enhance their homes and yards, and we are offering free access to all vendors.”
In addition to reaching potential clients in one central location, the expo will be an opportunity to gain valuable exposure, positive publicity and community goodwill through this high profile event.
Housing and Community Development welcomes experts in the areas of landscaping, pest control, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, roofing, siding, masonry, and more. Financial institutions, product representatives and general home contractors also are needed.
Business and individuals interested in participating should contact Emily Scolpini at 799-5260 x241 by April 25 to reserve a free vendor booth. Space is limited.
