Danville Parks and Recreation will be hosting an open public form at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 in the Pepsi Building in order to gather input from the community.
“We are in the process of developing a master plan that will guide the growth and management of the park system and delivery of recreation services for the next several years,” said Department Director Bill Sgrinia. “A key part of that process is to gather input and suggestions from members of the community and the region.”
Representatives from Land Planning and Design Associates and Pros Consulting will facilitate the meeting and meet with individuals, groups and organizations concerning current Parks and Recreation services and facilities.
“We can’t play without you,” Sgrinia said. “Help us build the future of Parks and Recreation services in Danville. We are building tomorrows parks and recreation department today, we need your advice. “
