A Public Works crew on Friday afternoon reopened all lanes at the intersection of Main Street and Memorial Drive following completion of repairs to the brick pavers. Work remains incomplete, however, on a portion of Arnett Boulevard.
At Main and Memorial, lane closures had been in place since Monday. Brick pavers in the intersection had sunken. A water leak was suspected as the cause, but the crew was unable to locate a leak. The crew reinforced the foundation of the water main and replaced the pavers.
On Arnett Boulevard, a crew on Thursday began repairing a storm drain on Arnett Boulevard from Riverside Drive to Hampton Drive. The repair required closure of the right northbound lane of Arnett Boulevard from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
On Monday, the repair again is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
