City Council will meet Tuesday, Nov. 17, with a business session beginning at 7 p.m., followed by a work session. The business session will be held in the Council Chambers on the fourth floor of the Municipal Building, which is located at 427 Patton St.
The agenda for the business session includes public hearings on requests for a special use permit at 132 Union St. and to rezone property at 668 Arnett Blvd. Council also is scheduled to vote on Parks and Recreation user fees and the fee schedule for Danville Public Library.
The work session will be held on the same floor, but across the hall in the Council Conference Room. In work sessions, Council reviews non-routine matters that will be voted upon in future business meetings. The agenda includes discussion of food truck regulations and a resolution of support for the creation of the Danville Advanced Manufacturing Precision Machining Lab at George Washington High School.
