The Chef at the Market series continues on Saturday, Sept. 24, with a cooking demonstration by chef Dustin Haberer of Sodexo. The demonstration begins at 8 a.m. at the Danville Farmers' Market, which is located at 629 Craghead St.
The event is free and open to the public.
Haberer will prepare on site three recipes made with ingredients available at the Farmers' Market. He is an executive chef for Sodexo, which provides all food and beverage services for event catering at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research. Sodexo also operates Megabytes Cafe', IALR’s onsite restaurant.
The farmers' market is open every Saturday through October from 7:30 a.m. to noon.
