With Christmas Eve and Christmas Day falling on a weekend, the Municipal Building, all other City of Danville administrative offices and the public library will close in observance of the holidays on Friday, Dec. 23, and remain closed through Monday, Dec. 26.
The James F. Ingram Justice Center (courthouse) will close for the Christmas holiday beginning at noon on Thursday, Dec. 22, and remain closed through Monday, Dec. 26.
The Municipal Building and all other administrative offices, the library and the courthouse will reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 27.
Household refuse and yard waste will see no change in collections, with pickup remaining on the regular Monday-Friday schedule.
Danville Transit will operate on Friday, Dec. 23; however, it will not on Saturday, Dec. 24, and Monday, Dec. 26. Senior Transportation Services will transport dialysis patients to and from the dialysis clinic on Saturday, Dec. 24, and Monday, Dec. 26.
In observance of the New Year’s Day holiday, the administrative offices, library and courthouse will be closed on Monday, Jan. 2.
