National recording artists Trace Adkins and Brothers Osborne have joined the lineup for the Danville Harvest Jubilee’s Concert Series this summer. Brothers Osborne will perform on Aug. 12. Adkins will perform on Oct. 13.
The summer series also will feature Old Dominion in concert, which was announced earlier this year. The band, which includes four Virginians, will perform live at the Carrington Pavilion on Saturday, June 3. Tickets remain available.
Tickets for Brothers Osborne will go on sale Friday, May 12, and cost $40 for reserved seating and $25 for general admission.
Tickets for Adkins will go on sale June 9 and cost $37.50 for reserved seating and $27.50 for general admission.
Tickets can be purchased at DanvilleHarvestJubilee.org, at the Danville Welcome Center or by calling 434-793-4636. All tickets cost $5 more day of the show. Shows are rain or shine. Lawn chairs permitted on the lawn area only. No outside food or beverages permitted.
Brothers Osborne recently was named the Academy of Country Music’s vocal duo of the year. The duo — brothers T.J. and John Osborne — also was named the County Music Association’s 2016 vocal duo of the year. T.J. is the lead singer and plays rhythm guitar and John plays lead guitar and provides background vocals. They are signed to EMI Nashville, for which they have released four singles and one studio album.
Morgan Wallen, former contestant on NBC’s “The Voice,” will open for Brothers Osborne.
Needing little introduction, Adkins has powered numerous hits to the top of the charts and sold more than 10 million albums. His hit list includes “You’re Gonna Miss This,” “Ladies Love Country Boys,” “Songs About Me,” “Every Light in the House,” and “Just Fishin’,” to name a few.
William Michael Morgan will open for Adkins in a show that includes a return to Danville Harvest Jubilee’s roots in the form of an auctioneer demonstration.
The Summer Concert Series is sponsored by Bud Light, City of Danville, Centra Medical Center, Coca-Cola, Homeplace Vineyards, Texas Steakhouse and Saloon, URW Community Federal Credit Union and Big Sky Rents and Events.
