The U.S. Small Business Administration is reminding eligible private non-profit organizations (PNPs) in Virginia of the Feb. 19 deadline to submit disaster loan applications for physical damages caused by Tropical Storm Michael, which occurred Oct. 9 -16.
PNPs that do not provide critical services of a governmental nature may be eligible to apply for low-interest rate disaster loans. Examples of eligible non-critical PNP organizations include, but are not limited to, food kitchens, homeless shelters, museums, libraries, community centers, schools and colleges.
PNPs in Danville and Pittsylvania County are eligible to apply.
Also eligible are PNPs located in Amelia, Appomattox, Brunswick, Campbell, Charlotte, Chesterfield, Cumberland, Dinwiddie, Essex, Floyd, Fluvanna, Frankin, Galax City, Halifax, King and Queen, Lunenburg, Montgomery, New Kent, Northumberland, Nottoway, Powhatan, Prince Edward, Rappahannock, Richmond and Roanoke counties.
