The Danville Farmers’ Market on Saturday, Oct. 26, will be the last weekly market of the season, but three special events will be held in November and December.
Located in the Community Market building at 629 Craghead St., the farmers market is open from 7:30 a.m. to noon every Saturday from May through October. Saturday, Oct. 26, is the final Saturday of the month.
On Saturday, Nov. 23, the annual Holiday Bazaar will be held at the Community Market. The show will feature more than 100 vendor booths displaying home-baked goods, handmade crafts, wine, honey, meats, wreaths, and late-season produce. It begins at 8 a.m. and continues until 2 p.m.
On Saturday, Dec. 7, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the annual Holiday Market will be held at the Community Market and will offer locally grown Christmas trees, baked goods, wreaths, jewelry, and artwork.
A new event, the Holiday Retail Show, is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 14, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
