On Tuesday, crews will begin milling and paving on Memorial Drive from Central Boulevard to Cahill Court. This work will require a brief ramp closure on Tuesday. On Wednesday, crews are scheduled to complete resurfacing in this section of Memorial Drive.
On Thursday and Friday, milling and paving will take place on Main Street from Holbrook Avenue to South Ridge Street.
The resurfacing projects are funded by the Virginia Department of Transportation’s State of Good Repair program. The program provides funding for deteriorated pavements and structurally deficient bridges.

Resurfacing to begin on Riverside Drive section
Milling and paving will begin Tuesday on the eastbound lanes of Riverside Drive from Piedmont Drive to Westover Drive. The work will require alternating lane closures.
Crews will start with the left lane, then move to the center lane, and finish with the right lane. The ramp from Piedmont Drive to Riverside Drive eastbound will be closed during the milling and paving. The ramp closure is scheduled tentatively on Thursday morning, weather permitting.
Today, crews are completing milling and paving on the eastbound lanes of South Boston Road from Oakland Avenue to Riverpoint Drive.

Weather permitting, milling and paving will begin Tuesday on the westbound lanes of South Boston Road from the Danville Expressway overpass to Old Halifax Road. The work will require alternating lane closures.
Following completion, crews this week will resurface the eastbound lanes of South Boston Road from Oakland Avenue to Riverpoint Drive.
