The CDC has announced new recommendations for wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies).
City Manager Ken Larking encourages everyone to follow the new guidelines in an effort to slow the spread. “I know that it may be uncomfortable, socially, literally, or both, but it makes good sense to wear masks when out in the public,” Larking said. “Not to make light of the situation, but I do look forward to seeing everyone’s creativity on display and if it keeps us safe, all the better.”
