In response to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, the Danville Police Department has implemented an online incident-reporting feature for citizens to file certain reports electronically. The feature allows residents the option to file online reports for instances of theft, vandalism and theft from inside a vehicle.
- This is feature is intended for non-emergency cases in which the incident has already happened.
- The department’s subsequent investigation and follow-up procedures will not change.
- The department will continue to respond to all emergency calls for service according to standard procedures.
