The Farmers’ Market will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays through August, with locally grown fruits and vegetables and other goods available for purchase. Social distancing guidelines will be in place.
Located in the Community Market building at 629 Craghead St., the Farmers Market also is open from 7:30 a.m. to noon every Saturday through October. For the Saturday market, the first hour, 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., is reserved for seniors and immunocompromised citizens.
Sending one person from your family to shop is recommended. Also, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, please remember the following guidelines for visiting the Farmers’ Market:
- Do not enter if you are sick.
- No pets allowed inside.
- Maintain six feet of separation.
- Do not touch surfaces or handle produce.
- One customer at a table at one time.
- No onsite food consumption.
- Please do not linger.
The Farmers’ Market accepts SNAP/EBT Cards for fresh, locally grown produce, baked goods, plants, seeds and more.
