Danville Public Schools is introducing a new way for community members to engage with division leaders — and for the division to better serve the community. “Let’s Talk!,” an online customer service and communication solution, is now available on the division’s website.
“With everything that happens in our division every day, it’s difficult to be confident that what we’re hearing truly reflects our community’s views,” said Dr. Cathy Magouyrk, interim superintendent. “By launching ‘Let’s Talk!,’ we’ve created an easy way for the community to enter into conversations with division leaders.
“We want our community to know that we’re listening, and we care about what they have to say.”
With Let’s Talk!, anyone can submit a question, comment, concern, suggestion, or compliment 24 hours a day, seven days a week from any computer, tablet, or smartphone. Submissions may be anonymous, but the division guarantees a direct response for people who leave their contact information.
To start a conversation, simply click the “Let’s Talk! Contact Us” tab, located in the lower right-hand corner of the website, and select a topic.
There’s also an app for iOS and Android devices. After downloading the “Let’s Talk!” app, users can enter the division’s ID number (DC2636) to access the Danville Public Schools’ Let’s Talk! page.
“The goal of Let’s Talk! is to build stronger community relationships, identify opportunities for engagement, and spot potential crises before they occur,” said Anne Moore-Sparks, community engagement and business partnership specialist. “It facilitates an open dialogue between district leaders and the community and offers unique features that help the district improve its customer service.”
“Let’s Talk!’ gives us the opportunity to track our responsiveness, ensures submissions are routed to the best person to respond, and lets our community members rate our service,” Dr. Magouyrk said. “That way, every interaction becomes a learning opportunity.”
