Mobile vaccination clinics will roll into Danville and offer the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine on Thursday and Saturday. The COVID-19 vaccines are free and will be for those ages 18 and up.
On Thursday, the mobile until will be on site at the former JCPenney at the Danville Mall from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the mobile unit will be stationed at the Community Market from 8 a.m. to noon.
These mobile clinics are designed to reach unvaccinated Virginians at times and places that are closer and more convenient. They have been moving from place to place to support local health department efforts across the state.
The Virginia Department of Health’s Pittsylvania/Danville Health District has arranged for the mobile clinics to come to Danville in coordination with the Virginia Department of Emergency Management and other supporting partners.
