Danville Parks and Recreation will host its annual Children’s Festival at the Carrington Pavilion on Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission and activities at the festival are free! There will be concessionaires on-site with items for purchase.
Free activities include Games Gone Mobile, a scavenger hunt, sensory tent, inflatables, Backyard Bass, monster mural, magic shows, and more! The Splash Zone will also be at Children’s Festival this year with water slides and the Fun Wagon. Bathing suits and appropriate swimwear is suggested. Open-toed shoes and flip-flops are not permitted.
Local NFL Brothers Trey, Terrell, and Tremaine Edmunds will also host the 3EBoyz Talent Showcase at 12 p.m. on the Carrington Pavilion stage.
“Children’s Festival is one of our favorite ways to start the summer,” Brittney Ham, Danville Parks and Recreation Communications Specialist, said. “This free event is a great opportunity for the kids to get outside and enjoy themselves.”
