A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, for the newly completed shell building in Cyber Park. The address is 120 Slayton Ave. The building was constructed in partnership between the Industrial Development Authority of Danville and the Pittsylvania County Industrial Development Authority. The structure offers 30,000 square feet of space but can be expanded to 60,000 square feet and upfitted to meet the needs of the end user.
The Danville-Pittsylvania Regional Industrial Facility Authority (RIFA) is hosting the event. RIFA Chairman Lee Vogler will speak. Also speaking will be Neal Morris, chairman of the Industrial Development Authority of Danville; Joey Faucette, chairman of the Pittsylvania County Industrial Development Authority; Will Pace, a board member of the Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission; Amir Kirkwood, president and CEO of Locus Community Focused Capital; and a representative of the Virginia Small Business Financing Authority.
