The City of Danville's fire marshal's office today lifted the ban on open burning in the city. The decision was made after the soaking rain received over the weekend. The ban had been in place since Nov. 8 due to dry weather conditions.
Residents are reminded to follow the requirements below of the city's open burning ordinance.
