The 2024 Movies at the Crossing kicks off Friday, April 26, at the Carrington Pavilion with the showing of the movie “Gnomeo and Juliet" on the big screen.
“Gnomeo & Juliet” is a 2011 British-American-Canadian animated romantic comedy film. The story follows Gnomeo and Juliet, a pair of garden gnomes who fall in love, but due to the feud between their respective families, they must find a way to keep their blossoming romance a secret.
The movie is part of Parks and Recreation’s “Movies at the Crossing” series. Gates open at 7 p.m. with food available for purchase. Kids can enjoy games and activities. The movie begins at 8:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Movie-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
