Danville Parks and Recreation will host its annual Children’s Festival at the Carrington Pavilion on Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission and activities at the festival are free! There will be concessionaires and vendors on-site with items for purchase.
This year’s theme is bubbles—and there will be a multitude of bubble themed activities! Other activity opportunities at Children’s Festival include: A Danville Parks and Recreation area featuring on-site activities; caricatures; yoga classes; a drop-in painting class; sensory tent; toddler play area; Backyard Bass; magic shows; and more!
“We’re excited for families to begin their summer of fun with us,” said Charlene Presley, Danville Parks and Recreation’s Division Director of Special Recreation. “This year’s activities are sure to engage kids in fun, educational activities all day long.”
