The Danville Police Department is proud to host Danville’s largest ever National Night Out event Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Westmoreland Park, the kickoff location for 2024.
Tonight’s festivities will include free food, prizes, activities, information stations, and music beginning at 4 p.m.
During the event at Westmoreland, Chief Chris Wiles will be speaking along with Mayor Alonzo Jones.
Additional National Night Out events are also taking place across the city at Cardinal Village (on the campus of Danville Community College), Grove Park, ARC Church at East Thomas and Cocoran Streets, and at Vance St. Church.
Everyone is encouraged to attend National Night Out at Westmoreland Park. This annual event brings together community, city, and business resources in a safe, family friendly environment.
Westmoreland Park is located at the corner of Sycamore and Spruce Streets.
The Danville Police Department wishes to thank the Westmoreland community for their partnership to make tonight’s kickoff event possible.
