Six teens have been charged for their involvement in two separate burglaries last month.
Danville Police responded to the 200 block of Surry Lane for a report of a residential burglary on Sept 19. A second report was made in the 200 block of Roberts Street on the same date. As a result of the investigation, six teenagers ranging in age from 16 to 19 years old received charges of breaking and entering and larceny.

The adults were Terquone Lamar Smith, age 18 of Danville and Melvina Shad'e King, age 19 of Danville. Smith was released on a $5000 secured bond, and King was released on a $2,500 secured bond. The juveniles' names are being withheld due to their age.
