Danville Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank this morning.
At approximately 11:09 am an alarm came in at Carter National Bank located on Kentuck Road. A clerk reported that a man came to her window, indicated that he was armed, and demanded all of her money. She gave him an undisclosed amount of cash before he fled the scene on foot. A search of the area was conducted with assistance from a North Carolina Department of Corrections K-9, but the robber was not apprehended. The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male, thin build, wearing a dark pullover hooded sweatshirt, and dark jeans.
