Danville Police are asking for the public’s assistance to help identify a person of interest in a recent convenience store robbery.
An individual robbed Carter’s Quick Shoppe at 3103 West Main Street on December 27 at about 8 a.m. A witness described the robber as a black male about 5’6” tall wearing a facemask and a leather jacket with a gray hoodie.
The robber said that he had a gun, but never displayed it and no one was hurt in the incident. The robber ran from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and lottery tickets.
Detectives developed a person of interest and they are trying to locate the person shown in the still surveillance photo.
