The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services is offering free online training to citizens about how to respond during an active attack situation.
The training “provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active attack event” (DCJS website). The training is designed for civilian stakeholders and community organizations to include schools, faith communities and civic organizations.
This is quality training presented by knowledgeable instructors. Though we hope that the unthinkable will never happen; your preparation could save someone’s life.
This two-hour virtual training will be held via Zoom. To view currently scheduled sessions and to register, visit this link: https://www.dcjs.virginia.gov/training-events/civilian-response-and-casualty-care-crcc-virtual-training
