Danville Police Seeking Help Identifying Suspect in Theft from Motor Vehicles, Asking Citizens to Lock Valuable and Firearms
The Danville Police Department has received multiple calls for items being stolen from vehicles within the City of Danville over the last two weeks. The suspect/s are targeting unlocked vehicles during the night and have stolen cash, firearms, and other valuables from unattended vehicles. One suspect is in the attached photograph and a second photograph of the same suspect is available on the Danville Police Department Facebook Page. Anyone who can identify the suspect, please contact the Danville Police Department through any available platform.
Citizens are asked to please lock your vehicles and hide valuables, especially firearms, from sight when they are not attended. We also ask if you encounter an unknown person entering your vehicle, call 911 and do not engage the individual/s, as they may be armed as in the suspect photo and could lead to a dangerous encounter.
