Missing Adult Naomi Willis was located at approximately 2:45PM after an extensive search including members of the Danville Police Department, Danville Life Saving Crew, Danville Fire Department, Blairs Volunteer Rescue Squad, Ringgold Volunteer Fire Department, Campbell County Sheriff's Office K9 and members of Virginia Emergency Management Center Rescue Teams including Angel Search and Rescue, Blue and Gray Search and Rescue Dogs, and Commonwealth Search and Rescue.
Mrs. Willis was found alive but in need of medical assistance. She was transported to SOVAH Emergency for medical treatment.
Thank you to everyone for the response and assistance in locating Mrs. Willis, but a special recognition goes out to Handler Jeff and his K9 partner Cynder of Blue and Gray Search and Rescue Dogs, who successfully located Mrs. Willis. The photo is of Jeff and Cynder from todays search efforts.

62-year-old Naomi Willis was reported missing this morning by her family. She was last seen earlier this morning on the walking trail near Dan Daniel Park wearing green pants and a tan shirt. A search for Mrs. Willis is currently underway with assistance from the Danville Life Saving Crew and the Danville Fire Department. The Danville Police Department is asking for the public to keep a look out for Mrs. Willis, and If anyone has seen Mrs. Willis or knows her location, please call 911 immediately. Mrs. Willis is reported to have early stages of dementia and could possibly be lost.
