7/03/23 NOON UPDATE: Public Works continues to remove fallen trees on 1 Community Way.
A reminder that the Bishop Avenue entrance is open for all traffic. Additionally, the police department headquarters is open today, July 3, until 5 p.m. We will be closed July 4.
Please note, the Memorial Drive entrance (once it reopens) is the employee entrance only. All other traffic should use Bishop Avenue.
7/02/23 ORIGINAL RELEASE: Downed Trees at Police Department
Following the storms Sunday afternoon, the Memorial Drive entrance to the Danville Police Department, located at 1 Community Way, is blocked due to downed trees.
Please use the entrance on Bishop Avenue.
A time estimate for the Memorial Drive entrance to reopen is currently not known.
