The Danville Police Department has made an arrest following a homicide that occurred Saturday, July 15.
Ebonie Michelle Holm, 44, has been charged with second degree murder. She is in the Danville City under no bond.
Around 11:45 a.m. officers responded to the 100 block of Wimbish Place for a well being check. Holm’s mother, Marie Boynton, 61, was found suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced dead a short time later by the Danville Life Saving Crew.
No other individuals are being sought. This is the seventh homicide of 2023.
