The Danville Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance identifying the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a shots fired incident that occurred Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 24, in the 1100 block of Franklin Turnpike.
The vehicle is described as a small, white GMC SUV.
Around 1 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the 1100 block of Franklin Turnpike in reference to a shots fired incident. No one was injured, and at this time nothing appears to have been struck by gunfire. The center turn lane and left southbound lanes of Franklin Turnpike were blocked during the investigation.
The Danville Police Department is currently working active leads.
