The Danville Police Department in partnership with The Brick held the 4th Annual 5k with 5-0 Saturday, Sept. 7 at 1 Community Way.
Overall 5k winner and first place men's runner is Dawson Woodruff with a time of 18:25.176 minutes. Second place is Blake Fink with a time of 19:03.111 minutes. Finishing third is Nasir Monroe with a time of 19:51.007 minutes.
For the ladies, first is Kayla Robertson with a time of 26:06.383 minutes. Second is Mayra Espino with 29:52.974 minutes. Third place is Sandy Ramsey with a time of 34:00.413.
The Department wishes to thank the many runners who participated today, The Brick who kept track of the finish and helped create the course, and to the Danville Fire Department and Danville Life Saving for watching the race corners and keeping an eye on the runners.
