UPDATE: The Danville Police Department has made an arrest following the Wednesday night homicide on Fagan Street.
Danville resident Tyree Rafael Brandon, 29, has been charged with second degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and discharging a firearm in public to cause injury.
Brandon’s photograph is being withheld at this time from public release for investigative purposes.
No further information will be released.

ORIGINAL RELEASE: HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION
The Danville Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 200 block of Fagan St. Wednesday, Oct. 2.
Just before 10 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to Fagan St. for a well being checked when they discovered a male lying in a driveway suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Danville resident Azra Jermann Keene, 33, was rendered lifesaving aid at the scene. He was transported and later died as a result of his injuries.
This incident remains under investigation.
