Danville Police responded to a call of a robbery in the 100 block of Old Greensboro Road this afternoon.
At 3:04 PM, Danville Police responded to a reported robbery in the 100 block of Old Greensboro Road. A Danville City resident advised a white female approximately mid 40s, 5’5, 170 pounds clothing description unknown and a young black male wearing all black approached him. The female suspect took an undetermined amount of cash from the victim. The male suspect stabbed the victim in the back with a knife. The suspects then ran into the wooded area behind the 100 block of Old Greensboro Road and disappeared. The victim was transported to the Danville Regional Medical Center by the Danville Life Savings Crew for treatment of non- life threatening injuries.
The police investigation is continuing.
