Danville Police responded to a call of a robbery on Spencer Street last night.
At 9:40 PM on August 17, 2012, Danville Police responded to a reported robbery on Spencer Street. A Danville City resident advised he was in the 2000 block of Spencer Street when four black males approached him. The four black males assaulted the victim and took an undetermined amount of property from him. There were no weapons involved in this incident. The victim was not able to provide any further information on the suspects, clothing or physical descriptions. The victim sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment.
The police investigation is continuing.
