1. How do I put money on an inmate’s account at Adult Detention?

There are four ways to put money on an inmate’s account:
1) Credit card via telephone
2) Internet
3) Kiosk (located in the Danville City Jail lobby at 401 Patton Street)
4) Cash or money orders delivered to the Adult Detention Center during inmate visitation. You must be on the inmate's visitation list.

2. Can I put money on an inmate's account with a money order or send in cash?

With the use of TouchPay, we will no longer accept cash or money orders via regular mail. The TouchPay kiosk in the Danville City Jail accepts cash in addition to credit/debit cards should you need to place money on an inmate's account. Cash will be accepted during the inmate's visitation time, but you must be on the inmate's visitation list to leave funds.

3. How long does it take for the inmate to receive deposited funds?

Typically, deposits can post to an inmate's account in 1 - 24 hours.

4. Can the TouchPay provide an inmate's account balance?

No. TouchPay does not maintain inmate account balances.
